An Introduction to car wrapping

Car wrapping is the use of large sheets of vinyl to cover a car, ultimately altering its appearance. It is applied directly over the original paint of the vehicle. The vinyl can easily be removed without harming the car in any way and lasts up to five years, depending on how many colours are used in the design. It gives you the opportunity to change your car’s appearance when you need to without the great expense of repainting it. As a result, it’s very popular among people who like to update the look of their car frequently or for businesses who want to advertise their services or certain specials that they are offering.

Reasons people get their cars wrapped

  • Advertising a business (It has been proven that the cost per impression (CPI) of vehicles wraps is less than other forms of advertising such as billboards, television and radio)
  • Advertising a special business offering (You can change your wrap as frequently as you change your specials)
  • Update the look of your car (Never get bored with your car’s appearance)
  • Trying a new look on your car without having to invest a lot of money into it
