he airline had an overwhelming response to the initiative and Sytech Supplies was one of the lucky winners of the 50 Grants on offer to companies in South Africa. The standard of the entries were exceptionally high and there were more than 1000 applicants in South Africa. Thanks to our Technical manager, Richard Haarhoff, and his lovely wife’s ability to accurately articulate our company’s long term objectives, Sytech Supplies was chosen as the standard of our entry demonstrated how business travel would allow the company to achieve its goals and aspirations for 2010.

In a move toward building a truly South African signage and graphics suplier brand, Sytech Supplies has just taken the first of several step in that direction. “From December the beautiful coastal city of Port Elizabeth will be our second home”. says Arthur Van Wyk, Sytech’s head of Brand Marketing.

Charnia kicked it off with how the company started and how far they’ve come. She ran through a number of slides (that could have been done better since they have access to an entire industry of creatives) that explained briefly the point she was talking about at the time. Then Dyelan went through the changes. The one I like the most is that their website will undergo an overhaul soon. The new one looks like a Wordpress or Joomla site. I love the fact that they’re building a site that plugs into the social tools available online. Dyelan proceeded to explain that the 2010 show will now become a “roadshow’ and will be hosted in Polokwane and Nelspruit as well.
